Wondering what to expect at rice's market? You're not alone. We understand You may have questions while planning your trip to Rice's Market. Here are the most commonly asked questions by our visitors and vendors.
Q: Where are you located?
A: Rice's Market is located at 6326 Greenhill Rd, New Hope, PA 18938. Please note that we are not located in Doylestown.
Q: What are your hours?
A: We are open Tuesday, Saturday, and most major holidays from 7:00 am to 1:30 pm. Please note individual hours may vary. Many vendors finish setting up around 7:30 am and start packing up around 1:00 pm. We recommend starting and finishing with our monthly vendors inside the barns!
Q: Is there a fee for parking?
A: There is a $1 parking fee, which covers parking lot direction, security, and cleanup.
Q: Do you offer handicap parking?
A: Yes, we offer convenient handicap parking close to the market.
Q: Are the walkways paved?
A: Yes, our walkways are paved making them wheelchair and stroller accessible.
Q: Is the market kid friendly?
A: Yes, Rice's Market is a family environment. We do not allow obscene material, AND our vendors provide products that are suitable for an ALL ages environment.
Q: Am I allowed to bring my pet?
A: In the cooler months, leashed and well behaved dogs are allowed. Be sure to bring a doggy bag and bottled water. We do not recommend bringing in summer months as the asphalt gets extremely hot.
Q: How can I become a vendor?
A: Please visit the "Sell" page of our website. You will find additional information about becoming a vendor there.
Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: No need for reservations. On the day you wish to vend, check in at the office between 6:00-6:30 am. We will get you set up with everything you need.
Q: Am I allowed to sell food or drink?
A: All food must be prepackaged and no beverages are allowed to be sold at the market. If food handling is needed, it must be approved by the Bucks County Department of Health.
Q: Do you offer refunds?
A: Rice's Market does not sell any products, therefore returns and refunds are exclusively between the shopper and vendor. If you have additional questions, comments, or concerns, about a sale, we are always happy to assist via email.
